How do you conjugate 자부하다 in Korean?
자부하다 (to bloat, pretend) is 자부하요 in the polite 해요체, 자부합니다 in formal 합니다체, 자부하 in casual 반말 and 자부한다 in the plain written style. The past is 자부핬어요.
What is the past tense of 자부하다?
자부핬어요 in everyday polite speech, 자부핬습니다 formally. It is built from the 아/어 form 자부하 plus ㅆ, which is why an irregular stem shows its irregularity here.
Is 자부하다 a regular verb?
Yes. Its stem never changes shape: 자부합니다, 자부하, 자부하니 all keep 자부하 intact. Only the ending moves.
