앞말이 나타내는 행위나 상태를 부정하는 뜻을 나타내는 표현.

쓰임Usage

Attaches after verbs and adjectives. A contracted form of -지 아니하다.

동사와 형용사 뒤에 붙여 쓴다. ‘-지 아니하다’가 줄어든 말이다.

예문Examples

지수가 아무 말도 하지 않았기 때문에 나는 지수의 사정을 전혀 몰랐다.

Because Jisu didn't say anything, I had no idea about her situation.
