How do you conjugate 안되다 in Korean?
안되다 (to be sorry, to be unfortunate) is 안돼요 in the polite 해요체, 안됩니다 in formal 합니다체, 안돼 in casual 반말 and 안되다 in the plain written style. The past is 안됐어요.
What is the past tense of 안되다?
안됐어요 in everyday polite speech, 안됐습니다 formally. It is built from the 아/어 form 안돼 plus ㅆ, which is why an irregular stem shows its irregularity here.
Is 안되다 a regular verb?
