홀리다 (to be possessed) is 홀려요 in the polite 해요체, 홀립니다 in formal 합니다체, 홀려 in casual 반말 and 홀린다 in the plain written style. The past is 홀렸어요.
What is the past tense of 홀리다?
홀렸어요 in everyday polite speech, 홀렸습니다 formally. It is built from the 아/어 form 홀려 plus ㅆ, which is why an irregular stem shows its irregularity here.
Is 홀리다 a regular verb?
Yes. Its stem never changes shape: 홀립니다, 홀려, 홀리니 all keep 홀리 intact. Only the ending moves.
