How do you conjugate 사인 in Korean?
사인 (signature) is 사인어요 in the polite 해요체, 사인습니다 in formal 합니다체, 사인어 in casual 반말 and 사인는다 in the plain written style. The past is 사인었어요.
What is the past tense of 사인?
사인었어요 in everyday polite speech, 사인었습니다 formally. It is built from the 아/어 form 사인어 plus ㅆ, which is why an irregular stem shows its irregularity here.
Is 사인 a regular verb?
Yes. Its stem never changes shape: 사인습니다, 사인어, 사인으니 all keep 사 intact. Only the ending moves.
