How do you conjugate 싫다 in Korean?

What is the past tense of 싫다?
싫었어요 in everyday polite speech, 싫었습니다 formally. It is built from the 아/어 form 싫어 plus ㅆ, which is why an irregular stem shows its irregularity here.
Is 싫다 a regular verb?
