How do you conjugate 따다 in Korean?
따다 (to pick, to pluck) is 따요 in the polite 해요체, 땁니다 in formal 합니다체, 따 in casual 반말 and 딴다 in the plain written style. The past is 땄어요.
What is the past tense of 따다?
땄어요 in everyday polite speech, 땄습니다 formally. It is built from the 아/어 form 따 plus ㅆ, which is why an irregular stem shows its irregularity here.
Is 따다 a regular verb?
Yes. Its stem never changes shape: 땁니다, 따, 따니 all keep 따 intact. Only the ending moves.
