We run three study sites, one language each, built on the same engine. If you are studying more than one, the other two will already feel familiar — same daily plan, same flashcards, same rule about staying free and not needing an account.
Practice JLPT — Japanese, N5 to N1
Grammar, vocabulary, kanji, reading and practice questions, plus the kana charts.
If you have worked through the hanja here, you have a head start on the kanji. They are the same characters: Korea and Japan both took them from Chinese, and the meanings travelled even where the readings did not. Of the 2,136 kanji across the five JLPT levels, 1,381 already appear in the hanja on this site, and at N5 it is 71 of 80.
That count is if anything low. Japan simplified many forms after the war and Korea kept the older ones, so 學/学, 氣/気 and 讀/読 are one character each but two different codepoints, and a strict comparison scores every such pair as a miss. What it does not give you is the readings — 日 is il here and nichi, jitsu or hi there — so the characters transfer and the pronunciation has to be learned again.

German Fluent — German, A1 to C2
Vocabulary, reading, grammar and practice, on the same daily plan and flashcard deck this site uses.
No shortcut of the hanja kind here, and it would be dishonest to invent one: Korean and German share no script, no vocabulary and no grammar worth trading on. What carries over is the machinery — if you like how the plan and the decks work on this site, they work the same way there.
