My husband left me a year ago.

그 말이 저를 떠나지 않았습니다.

These words, they stuck with me.

바로 대학을 떠난 해였기 때문입니다.

It was the year I left university.

이것은 국가 전체적 문제입니다.

This is an American issue.

전체적인 모습을 보면 이렇습니다.

This is what that looks like at scale.

영국 그리고 유럽 전체에서도 같은 현상이 나타났어요.

We saw it in Britain, we've seen it all over Europe.

What do I take from this? Why tell this story?

So what's missing in that equation is figuring out what our boundaries would be.

This is what I'm supposed to naturally be able to do.

But we didn't get in our car.

왜 우리가 사는 도시들은 이렇게 생겼지?

Why do our cities look like this?

그래서 우리는 1000개의 도시가 하나의 얼굴을 가졌다고 합니다.

So here, we call it 1,000 cities with one face.

아프리카와 라틴아메리카의 일부는 산업화도 되기 전에 도시화가 되고 있습니다.

You see, parts of Africa and Latin America are urbanizing before they industrialize.

분위기를 사는 거죠

You're paying for the atmosphere.

And when you're laughing, you enter into a state of openness.
